Ain't No Way!!!

WOW!

How could time ease through the walls of my existence, only to rush back in and brutally remind me that it is now MARCH 2012! I have had soooo much transpire since my last post...it's been too long. Lots of good stuff happening. We'll catch up soon.

Glad to be here, though! I know you all are well and busy being rock stars in your lives. I know I'm mad late, but HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Speaking of rock stars, I went out with an assortment of my crazy friends to a spot called LaGrange in the Deep Ellum section of Dallas last night to listen to a few bands play. One of the drummers of Rigor Mortis is my friend Tyler's brother. You guys know I live outside "the box"....I don't do predictable. Well, this was definitely a new experience for me. I absolutely love ALL music, but can't ever say I've listened to HOURS of heavy metal. I actually had a great time. Being the only Black beauty in the room (there were a few brothers there) made me an instant rocker dude magnet, ha ha. Most of the time, that was a good thing. Shout out the the dread locked electric guitar player!! I'm a hip hop head, but there was something oddly similar in the energy of the music and the crowd. Had a fab night!

Of course, I had to rock my skinny jeans, black stiletto boots, wild hair, and big silver hoop earrings! In that vein, I've decided to give a nod to rocker fashion today. Enjoy!!!!

Aviators are my favorite style of sunglasses. They just look fly! You can get a pair as cheap as ten bucks, or as high as you want to spend (but seriously, they're just sunglasses!)  I personally love Ray-Ban because you can choose your frame style and lens color. I'm in love with these:
